I'm a huge fan of comedy. As I began to get more interested and involved in it I noticed that there is no go-to location on the web for comedians and fans to get involved and learn about comedy.
As a response to this problem I designed soapbox: a comedy news site with an emphasis on fostering comedy-centric communities at a local level.
